ART. 1 - DATE
The ORGANIZING ASD. MARATONA MUGELLO with the approval of UISP, with the patronage of the municipal administration of Scarperia e San Piero, the Province of Florence and the Tuscany Region is organizing, on January 22, 2017, beginning at 11:00am, the 5th edition of MUGELLO GP RUN, competitive footrace (Km10.490) and non-competitive (Km5.245), international, individual (male and female), measured and authorized from UISP.
ART. 2 - REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITIVE RACE
AND NON-COMPETITIVE RACE
The participation to the competitive race of 10490 Mt.(2 Circuit laps) is opened to all those who at 2017 will have reached the age of 18 years and one of the following options:
-Fidal members, both Italians and strangers in good standing with the federal membership for 2017.
-Non-members but holder of the “RUNCARD” (annual paper issued directly by Fidal). The participation for the owners of “RUNCARD” is still subjected to the submission (both by Italians that foreign athletes, residents and non-residents) of the medical fitness agonistic certificate specific for Athletics valid in Italy, which must be shown to the organizers in original, and a copy must be left to the organizers. These athletes will be included regularly in the classification of the race, but they will not enjoy refunds, bonuses or access to the possible money prizes.
-The foreign athletes who are members of foreign federations. The community or extra-community athletes must present at the registration moment a copy of the authorization from their federation (copy of the card by their federation); the extra-community athlets must also be present the residence permit or visa.
-The foreign athletes who are non-members of foreign federations. The community or extra-community athletes non-members can register by means of annual card issued by the organizers, with registration of membership to Asd. Maratona Mugello (UISP card). To obtain UISP membership is mandatory to send to this email tesseramenti@maratonamugello.it within not later than January 6:
-the Health Form 2017 filled in its entirety,
-a copy of the payment of euro 15.00 (the bank data for this payment are indicated below art.3) asking to be made members of A.S.D. Maratona Mugello,
-the following health tests. To participate in competitive foot races, the Italian legislation calls for the athletes concerned must submit to the following health tests: - Medical examination - Examination complete urine - Electrocardiogram at rest and after exercise - spirography.
Afterwards, we will let you know your UISP card number (to be included in the SDAM registration form). When picking the race number (and the card), it must be presented the original of the Health Form and tests. The card will be valid for the period January 2017-August 2017, for the participation in all races in Italy. These athletes will be included regularly in the classification of the race, but they will not enjoy refunds, bonuses or access to the possible money prizes.
The participation to the playful-motor walk of 5245 Mt. (1 Circuit lap) is opened to all those who at the date of January 22, 2017 will have reached the age of 15 years. Registration for the competition implies the tacit declaration of self-certification of physical fitness to the practice of "non-competitive" sport activity as required by the current legislation and, there for exempt the organizers from requiring such a medical certificate.The participant raises the Organizing Committee from any responsibility for their physical fitness to take part in the event and from any liability whether civil or criminal, for personal injury and/or damage caused by himself or he derived from participation in the race.
The participation to the non-competitive races at "Mugellino" is opened to all the children that on January 22, 2017 will be under the age of 15 years.

Esordienti C (2011/2010) mt. 200 – Esordienti B (2009/2008) mt. 500 – Esordienti A(2007/2006) mt. 700 – Ragazzi/e (2005/2004) mt. 1100 – Cadetti/e (2003/2002) mt. 1400.
ART. 3 – PROCEDURES AND FEES
The registrations must be received no later than 23.59 of Monday, January 16, 2017.
The registration fees are as follow:
Euro 12,00 for the competitive race (10,490 km).
Euro 7,00 for the non-competitive race (5,245 km).
Those who make the registration within such period will be able to book lunch at the restaurant inside the Mugello Circuit with a menu at € 8.00 (to be indicated on the form and added to the registration fees at the time of registration), including: 1 first course (choice of 3 types), ½ l water and coffee.
After this time limit, it will be possible to register only in person (for FIDAL members), Saturday, Jan. 21 from 15.00 to 18.00 and Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at the Expo Area of Mugello Circuit from 8.00 am to 10.00 am within creased registration fees, namely:
Euro 15,00 for the competitive race (10,490 km)
Euro 10,00 for the non-competitive race (5,245 km)
Euro 1,00 for the non-competitive race for children (under the age of 15 years).
The registration will be made directly on Sunday morning at the “Mugellino” racetrack (go-kart circuit inside the Mugello Circuit)
It is possible to make the registration no later than 23.59 of Monday, January 16, 2017, by the following methods:
- Web, on SDAM website, filling accurately the Form, necessarily attaching a copy (and write the number) of your Membership Card; if you are “non-members” it’s possible to register yourself by means of annual card issued by the organizers, with registration of membership to Asd. Maratona Mugello (annual UISP card) at a cost or 15€ (Read carefully art.2).
-Email (mugellogprun@toscanatiming.it) sending the paper copy of the Registration Form accurately filled, copy of your Membership Card; if you are “non-members” it’s possible to register yourself by means of annual card issued by the organizers, with registration of membership to Asd. Maratona Mugello (UISP card) at a cost or 15€ (Read carefully art.2).
All registrations lacking of at least one of the requirements will be considered incomplete, posted and then deleted from the lists of registered athletes.
For picking-up the race number will be requested to the athletes to present the original of the authorization from their federation or the Health Form duly filled and signed. If lacking of this documents the organization will not deliver the race number.
The registration fees must be paid by:

-Payment with credit card / paypal/ homebanking bank transfer by the circuit for online registrations (on SDAM website)
Will not be accepted (and will be cancelled from the entry lists) the registrations lacking of the payment of the registration fees and the registrations arrived after the deadline.
The participation feesare non-refundable for any reasons.
ART. 4 – CLOSING OF REGISTRATIONS
For logistical and organizational reasons, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to close early registrations or accept registrations afterthe closing dateat its sole discretion. You can check your registration on-line at SDAM.IT
ART. 5 – WITH THE REGISTRATION YOU’LL RECEIVE:
- Race number (The competitors cannot interfere with or reduce the race numbers, hiding terms or symbols. Athletes who do not abide by this rule will be disqualified).
- Disposable CHIP (only for the competitive race).
- Basic UISP insurance and medical assistance.
- Final refreshment.
- The possibility to use the services (showers and baths) of the structure.
- The possibility to book lunch at the restaurant inside the Mugello Circuit with a menu at € 8.00 ( including: 1 first course (choice of 3 types), ½ l water and coffee).
- Participation prize (technical t-shirt especially made for the event).
ART. 6 – CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION
SDAM send to all registered athletes, which will indicate a valid email address, the confirmation of the registration. Registrations can also be check ed through the web site.
ART. 7 – PICK UP OF RACE NUMBER AND GOODY BAG
The race number and the goody bag can be picked up to the Mugello Circuit on Saturday, January 21 from 15.00 to 18.00 and Sunday, January 22 from 8.00 to 10.30.
ART.8 - RACE
The event will take place in any weather condition, on a distance of 10.490 km (5.245 Km non competitive race) entirely within the track of Mugello Circuit. The organizers reserve the right, in the case of major weather events, to postpone the event to the following Weekend.
ART. 9 - REFRESHMENT
They will be refresh ments as prescribed by UISP Regulation.
ART. 10 - TIMEKEEPING, RESULTS, CATEGORIES AND TIME LIMIT
(competitive race)
The timing is by SDAM. The correctness of the competition will be ensured by the presence of UISP Judges. Time measurement and processing of the classifications will be made with the system MySDAM, based on a passive transponder ("chip") that each athlete will have in the race number. For each athlete will be taken: the official time (from gunshot to the finish line) and real time (from the moment you cross the start line to the finish line).
Shall be drawn up a general order of arrival including all participants to the event and a category classification.
The categories will be as follows:
ASSOLUTI MASCHILE 1967-1998 - VETERANI MASCHILE 1957-1966 - ARGENTO MASCHILE 1956 and earlier.
ASSOLUTE FEMMINILE 1967-1998 - VETERANI FEMMINILE 1966 and earlier.
The maximum time for the race is 80 minutes.
ART. 11 - MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Is provided a medical services with ambulance and the presence of the Medical Center in the Mugello Circuit.
ART. 12 - COMPLAINTS
Must be submitted with in 30 minutes from the result formalization. First instance: verbally to the judge at the arrival. Second instance: in writing to the Jury of Appeal accompanied by a fee of 100.00 € refundable in case of acceptance of the same.
ART. 13 - AWARDS (competitive race)
Will be rewarded with a trophy or technical material the first five athletes classified for all the categories provided by UISP (see Art.10). It will also be awarded the first men or women who have made the best lap time. A special prize for the athlete (men or woman) who beat the race record.
The prizes above will be delivered exclusively during the awards ceremony which will take place on the official podium of MugelloCircuit at the end of the event.
ART. 14 – DECLARATION OF RESPONSABILITY
By signing the registration form, the competitor declares to know and accept the rules of "Mugello GP Run" published on the website www.mugellogprun.it, the rules on the protection of health in athletics, according to the DM of 18/02/82 (05/03/82 G.U.) and supplementary D.M. of 28.2.83 (OJ 15.3.83) and to be 18 years old on 24.01.2016 (for competitive race). Also expressly declares under its own responsibility, not only to have declared the truth (Article 2 of Law 04/01/1968 n "15 as amended by art. 3, paragraph 10 of Law 15/05/1997 n ° 127), but to exempt the organizers from any liability, civil or criminal, for personal injury and/or damage caused by himself or occurred to himself. Pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30/06/2003 ("Privacy Law") we hereby inform that the personal data collected will be used only to prepare the list of participants, the classification and the historical archive, to provide the services stated in the regulation, to send information or advertising material of the "Mugello GP Run" or its partners. By entering the "Mugello GP Run", the athlete authorizes the organizers of the "Mugello GP Run", along with media partners, to use images, fixed or in movement, that may portray him during his participation in the race on all media including promotional and/or advertising materials around the world and throughout the maximum time allowed by the laws, regulations, treaties in force, including any extension that may be made to the expected period.
ART. 15 – FINAL PROVISIONS
The organization reserves the right to amend these Rules at any time in order to ensure better organization of the race after getting the approval of the CRL UISP. Any changes to services, venues and times will be communicated to registered athletes through e-mail, or will be posted on the website www.mugellogprun.it. In addition, the documents containing the information essential to take part in the competition will be handed out by the organization along with the race number. For anything not expressly covered by this Regulation, makes explicit reference to UISP Regulation.
Privacy Policy: By filling in the registration form you subscribe to the provisions of the Legislative Decree 30.06.2003, n0196/03 (Privacy). Participation in the race implies, by the Organizing Committee and by third parties acting on his be half, the authorization to process, by computer means or not, of personal data and their use by the Organizer and third parties acting on his behalf, for the performance of the obligations related to the event.
IMAGE RIGHTS
By signing the registration form for the Mugello Gp Run, the participant, as for now, authorizes the Organization to free use images (fixed and/or moving) depicting his image. The letter is understood to be provided, indefinitely and without territorial limits, for use in printed publications and videos, including, by way of example and without limitations, promotional materials and/or advertising materials, carried on any type of support. The Organization can also give to third parties (which are its institutional and commercial partners) the usage rights provided here in.
